Can you skip? Of course, you think you can, everybody does, but really, can you? The answer might surprise you, especially if you’re over the age of 30.

Love it or hate it, TikTok is fantastic at spreading ideas like wildfire, and now young people everywhere are asking their parents and older co-workers to skip. It turns out that quite a few of them can’t, and the results are absolutely hysterical.

Beyond physical limitations, it’s unclear exactly why so many of our seniors have lost more than just a step, but it’s flat-out hilarious to watch them try. Dads specifically seem to struggle.

Some other TikTok videos claim that it is just men who have forgotten how to skip, but while there are definitely more men than women represented in this trend, age seems to be a bigger factor than gender.
